
The workshop is offered through the Legal Resources for the Elderly Program, a joint project of the New Mexico Aging and Long Term Services Department and the State Bar of New Mexico.
The workshop will cover topics including advanced health-care directives, probate, estate planning, transfer-on-death deeds, a power-of-attorney legal document, and institutional Medicaid coverage.
After the presentation, an attorney will be available to prepare powers of attorney and advanced health-care directives at no charge. Advance registration is required of participants desiring to have legal documents prepared.

Again, the free legal workshop for seniors will be offered on Wednesday, September 5th, from 10-11:15 a.m. at the Deming Senior Center, 800 S. Granite.
The power of attorney clinic will follow from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
