State officials say thousands of children across New Mexico are in need of foster and adoptive families to provide them with a loving and caring home.
To find out more, there will be a meeting this Thursday at noon at The Cookie Jar on S. Silver Avenue in downtown Deming.
New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department staff and foster parents will provide information and answer questions about the process to become a licensed foster or adoptive parent.
Again, the informational meeting will take place this Thursday, Feb. 22nd, at 12 p.m. at The Cookie Jar, 113 S. Silver Ave. in Deming.
Anyone interested is encouraged to attend.
