(Deming) – Congratulations to the Deming Dust Devils All-Star Cheer squad which has been judged one of the top in the nation.
The 15 Deming girls between the ages of 7 and 12 placed 5th in the American Showcase National Competition in Anaheim, California, over the weekend.
The girls competed against teams from around the country, including many from much larger communities with a great deal more resources.
The local team is coached by Elsa Rodriguez and Ofelia Hensley.
