Courtney Hurt from Deming, nine peers, and an NMSU faculty member and her spouse will meet with local officials, foreign aid workers and non-profit leaders.
The students also will have the opportunity to participate in cultural events, including a weekend trip to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal.
As part of the hands-on experience in India, the students will design public health education programs for under-served communities.
Aggies Go Global is a partnership between NMSU's International and Border Programs, the Office of the President and Provost, and the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences with support from the Associated Students of NMSU.
