Raul Perea (Deming) – A 2015 Deming High School graduate was named the Dona Ana 4-H Rodeo All-Around Champion.
Raul Perea won the Senior Team Roping Heading and Senior Team Roping Heeling champion titles before being named the Senior All-Around Champion of this past weekend’s rodeo.
Perea also placed in Tie-Down Calf Roping and Breakaway Roping.
Mackenzie Head won the Senior Pole Bending on Sunday and placed in the Senior Team Roping Heading competition.
And Tee Pickett placed second in Senior Team Roping Heading and second in Senior Team Roping Heeling.
Pickett also placed in the Tie-Down Calf Roping and Breakaway Roping competitions.
Other competitors representing Luna County 4-H were Denna Lugo, Isaac DeVora, Kevi McWright and Cierra Wood.
