DEMING – The city of Deming’s street slurry seal project will continue next week.
City officials said they are scheduling the work Mondays-Thursdays over the next few weeks based on progress, and will notify affected residents.
Work began March 17th, but was delayed by inclement weather.
City crews reportedly will make every attempt to notify residents in-person prior to scheduling work.
The following street sections are scheduled for resurfacing:
Platinum, Iron, Gold and Nickel streets south of Florida and north of Pear;
Holly Street east of Lime and west of NM 11 or the Columbus Highway;
and Santa Catalina, Santa Cruz, Santa Monica, Santa Clara, and Santa Barbara streets north of Peach and south of Walnut.
Others may be added as capacity allows.
