
Organizers say the Cinco de Mayo parade will start at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Mimbres Valley Learning and Special Events Center parking lot, and will travel north on Country Club to Cedar, Cedar to Pine, west on Pine to Gold, and then south on Gold to
Courthouse Park.
The Cinco de Mayo Queen chosen from the queen contest will ride on a float in the parade.
And there will be prizes awarded for parade entries.
The deadline to submit an entry in the parade is 3 p.m. Friday, and entry forms are available at the Deming Visitor Center, 800 East Pine.
Courthouse Park Saturday will have food and craft vendors, music, dancing, and a soloist and Mariachi contest.
