DEMING – Deming students are being offered the opportunity to virtually meet and learn about the youth of war-torn Ukraine.
The Ukraine Youth Action Network (UYAN) is a free, semester-long virtual exchange program designed for students aged 12-17.
This program allows students to connect and collaborate with displaced Ukrainian students who have found refuge in EU countries.
This program allows students to connect and collaborate with displaced Ukrainian students who have found refuge in EU countries.
The program includes weekly guided activities where students work together to design projects that are intended to benefit war-affected Ukrainians.
This initiative is designed to channel Ukrainian high school students’ wartime anxiety and trauma into positive, student-driven action for themselves and their country.
The project enables young Ukrainians whose lives have been disrupted by the Russian unprovoked war to connect with each other and with peers in the United States.
