Included on the agenda is consideration of a number of action items for the upcoming school year. Of note are changes in graduation requirements as Deming High School transitions to a seven-period day beginning next month.
Also, Superintendent Harvielee Moore and her staff will update the board on the elementary integrated health program and the high school four-year planbook, and will present the first readings of this school year’s athletic and activity handbook and intermediate school handbook.
According to the legal notice, the board also will meet in executive session Thursday at 4 p.m. to discuss limited personnel, pending litigation and the acquisition or disposal of real property.
The executive session is closed to the public.
The regular monthly meeting will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday in the board room of the Emmett Shockley Administration Building, 400 Cody Road.
That meeting is open to the public.
