
Included on the agenda is approval of the purchase of property – presumably for the proposed location of a new intermediate school to be built if voters approve the $27 million General Obligation Bond on February 4th.
The board also will vote on a resolution asking that the teacher evaluation system be restructured to ensure that testing measures count for no more than 25% of teacher evaluations and that the end-of-course exam system be reorganized.
And the board will consider the 2013-2014 revised fleet service contracts.
The meeting is set to begin at 5 p.m. Thursday in the board room of the Emmett Shockley Administration Building, 400 Cody Road. The meeting will be open to the public.
An executive – or closed – session to discuss limited personnel including the superintendent position’s search, pending or threatened litigation and the acquisition or disposal of real property will precede the open meeting at 4 p.m.
