
Included on the agenda is a proclamation for Red Ribbon Week, a resolution accepting the donation of land… revised 2013-2014 fleet service contracts… and a proclamation for keeping the lights on after school.
Also, Superintendent Harvielee Moore and her staff will present a financial review… a “Making the Grade” report… and first readings of policy updates pertaining to the Superintendent.
The meeting is set to begin at 5 p.m. Thursday in the board room of the Emmett Shockley Administration Building, 400 Cody Road. The meeting will be open to the public.
A special work session for presentations on “Making the Grade” and efforts being made to improve test scores will precede the regular session at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the board room. The work session is open to the public.
And the board will meet in executive – or closed – session to discuss limited personnel including the superintendent positions’ search, threatened or pending litigation, and the purchase, acquisition or disposal of real property at 3 p.m.
