
Included on the agenda are reports from the Student council, National Education Association, and a report on the board leadership.
Action items include consideration of a resolution proposing a capital improvement tax ballot question, approval of the ESS contract and approval of the DCCCHS budget for 2019-2020 school year.
Other budget items will be discussed and considered.
The board also will discuss authorize the filing and prosecution of a civil lawsuit to recover monies identified in the State Auditor’s Office Special Audit Report of November of 2017. The funds were described as being embezzled from the School District by a former employee as damages against the School District.
The meeting is set to begin at 5 p.m. Thursday in the board room of the Emmett Shockley Administration Building, 400 Cody Road. The meeting will be open to the public.
And a work session will be held Friday June 21st at 4pm for the purpose of discussions with the Department of Health, no action will be taken.
