
Included on the agenda are resolutions pertaining to hazardous walking conditions, teacher evaluations, the three-tier license system and a surplus sale… a waiver from the state transportation department… and an agreement with the Southwest New Mexico Council of Governments.
Superintendent Dr. Dan Lere and his staff will present a student enrollment update and a construction update.
And the board will recognize high school lifeguards who were responsible for saving a boy’s life at the public swimming pool.
The meeting is set to begin at 5 p.m. Thursday in the board room of the Emmett Shockley Administration Building, 400 Cody Road.
The meeting will be open to the public.
The board will meet in executive – or closed – session at 4 p.m. prior to the open meeting to discuss limited personnel, pending or threatened litigation and the purchase, acquisition or disposal of real property.
