
Denise Eaglestar, who works as a grant assistant and assistant evidence custodian, was recognized as a New Mexico Certified Public Official.
To become a certified public official, Eaglestar had to complete 18 classes chosen from a selected list of approved courses. She also had to submit a mini-essay demonstrating the application of the competencies learned through participating in the classes.
NM EDGE, which stands for Education Designed to Generate Excellence in the public sector, is a nationally accredited program administered by New Mexico State University’s Cooperative Extension Service.
