The armed robbery occurred at a home off North Iron at about 8:30 p.m. Friday.
The victim said he heard a knock on the door, and opened it to find three men in their early-to-mid-20s standing outside.
The victim told Deming Police officers that the men forced their way into his home, and he fell after a brief struggle with the invaders.
He said one of the men held a gun to his head while another took the wallet from his pocket, removed about $80 cash, and gave the wallet back to him.
The victim said the men then left.
Deming Police Chief Brandon Gigante said officers tracked footprints to where it appeared the men got in a vehicle and drove off.
One of the armed robbers was described as 5’9” and wearing a striped shirt.
