
In the Thursday March 9th issue of the paper, Headlight Editor, Billy Armendariz wrote that, “With more and more of our readers engaging with our content online, we are consolidating the very best of our five-day-per-week print edition into two outstanding editions a week.
Starting in April the Headlight will begin a two-day a week print cycle, Wednesday’s and Fridays. The article said that it was a strategic decision based on marketplace demand.
Armendariz said that the comics and puzzles will all be printed on the two weekly issues.
The Deming Headlight is owned by the USA TODAY NETWORK, comprising of 109 local media organizations and the USA TODAY in 34 states in the U.S. and Guam.
