
The group is comprised of members from New Mexico, Texas, South Dakota, California, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado.
Lodge members were assisted by the Choir Boys and the local Border Patrol Explorers in their annual Flag Day ceremony Friday.
The ceremony featured eight flags and their histories, the POW/MIA flag, and various tributes to the flag.
Organizers said the National Elks Organization is the only major organization to recognize the annual observance of Flag Day and lobbied for its official designation.
Then the lodge served as the starting and ending location for the first annual motorcycle run to benefit fallen and wounded law enforcement officers.
Approximately 100 members of the Choir Boys Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club participated.
The slogan for the event was “Riding for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.”
