The first item of business will be the swearing-in of newly appointed District Two City Councilor Roxanna Rincon.
Rincon was appointed by Mayor Benny Jasso to fill the seat vacated with the resignation of Linda Enis Franklin.
Also on Monday’s agenda is a resolution for an application to the state Municipal Arterial Program for funds to reconstruct and rehabilitate Gold Street… a Community Development Block Grant application… and three quasi-judicial public hearings for subdivision and zoning change requests.
The councilors also will consider the nomination and election of a mayor pro-tem… appointments to commissions, boards and committees… and a proclamation to declare April Clean and Green Month.
The meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m. Monday in the council chambers of the John Strand Municipal Building on South Gold. The meeting is open to the public.
