
Included on the agenda are votes to ratify two proclamations for events already passed – May 2nd as the National Day of Prayer and the first week of May as Youth Week.
Also, the councilors will consider a job description for a Planner II position for the city… will consider an update to the city’s administrative regulation pertaining to its drug and alcohol policy… will consider an out-of-state travel request for Lloyd Valentine to attend the Government Finance Officer Association Conference in San Francisco, California… and will vote on three bids – including one for visitor center operation and tourism development services.
The meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m. Monday night in the council chambers of the John Strand Municipal Building on South Gold. The meeting is open to the public.
A workshop to discuss agenda items will precede the open meeting at 4 Monday afternoon.
And a closed session to discuss the sale of agricultural and rural properties and appointed employee performance reviews will follow the open meeting.
