DEMING – The Deming Art Center has issued a call for local artists for its May show.
Officials said the annual May Luna County Fine Arts and Fine Arts & Crafts Show will be done differently this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Any Luna County resident wishing to enter may send digital photos of one to three pieces of their work to demingarts@hotmail.com by May 1st.
Work photographed can be paintings, sculpture, fiber arts, jewelry, or any other fine art or craft.
There are no age restrictions, and there will be no entry fee.
The photos will be displayed on the Deming Art Center website at www.demingarts.org, and the Deming Art Center Facebook page.
Interested persons should label their email “Luna County Show” in the subject line and include their name, address, and phone number when submitting photos.
Also include prices if the items are for sale.
Officials said if they are allowed to open May 15th, they will consider moving the exhibit to the gallery for the remaining two weeks of May.
