A media release said 34-year-old Samuel Elliott was sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge Robert Brack for his conviction on three counts of production of child pornography and four counts of possession of child pornography.
Elliott also was ordered to pay over $210,000 in restitution to each of the three children victimized by Elliott’s child pornography production scheme.
According to the indictment, Elliott used three young children to engage in sexually explicit conduct between December of 2012 and July of 2013 for the purpose of producing visual depictions of such conduct.
Two of the children were between one and five years of age, and the third child was over the age of five.
The indictment asserted that Elliott committed the crimes in Luna County.
