
The unique, bicultural event, is sponsored by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce.
Organizers say the parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday and will go by the plaza on Broadway Avenue in downtown Columbus.
Participants must line up by 9:30 a.m. in front of the old Columbus School east on North Boundary Avenue.
Following the parade there will be all-day entertainment in the plaza, including Dev & July, Musica Alegre, and more.
Political candidates are welcome and will be introduced to the crowd.
Local singers are invited to participate in "Karaoke in the Plaza" from 4-6 p.m.
And there will be food, jumping balloons, collectibles, gifts, and games.
Also, Pancho Villa State Park will present the 13th annual "Pancho's Car Show" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the park, which is within walking distance of the plaza.
