Organizers say 25 children – ages 1 to 10 – will be selected to benefit from the gift tree.
Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, December 4th.
Information such as household income, children's names, ages, gender and sizes will be required on the application to determine eligibility. All information will be kept completely confidential.
Contact Municipal Court Administrator Mirna Tafoya or Court Clerk Mary Corral at 544-9240 for more information or to submit an application. Again, applications are due no later than December 4th.
Then, on Friday, December 6th, city staffers will place a tree in the John Strand Municipal Building at 309 South Gold with information tags available for selection.
Gifts must be returned to city hall by December 17th.
Anyone interested in shopping for a child is encouraged to stop by city hall after December 6th and select a tag.
