
HELP-New Mexico Area Coordinator Crystal Pena said they are currently enrolling students for the program to be held at TLC or The Learning Center, 2150 E. Pine Street, located just southwest of the Mimbres Valley Learning and Special Events Center.
The CHISPA after-school science program will meet every Wednesday from 4-5:30 p.m., and a snack will be provided.
CHISPA is a national network of science museums and afterschool programs affiliated with the ASPIRA Association, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower the Latino community through advocacy and the education and leadership development of its youth, and with the National Council of La Raza, the United States' largest Latino nonprofit advocacy organization.
