
Included on the agenda is a lease renewal with Pitney Bowes, the 2018-2019 calendar, next year’s budget, a bylaws change increasing the number of governance council members, and the first reading of policies pertaining to the school’s vision and mission, community involvement, non-discrimination, sexual harassment, commitment to being a tobacco-free and alcohol-free campus, and student and staff wellness.
In addition, the governance council will hear updates from the school’s finance, planning, council development, and academic committees, and will allow public comment.
The meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 11th, in the board room of Deming Cesar Chavez Charter High School, 315 E. First Street.
The meeting will be open to the public.
