Caldwell’s steer won the Medium class before winning the Grand Champion honors.
A steer raised by Dylan Smyer was selected as the Short class winner before being selected as the Reserve Grand Champion steer.
And the first-place Tall steer was raised by Michael Diaz.
And this year, the Luna County Farm and Livestock Bureau sponsored a County-Bred Steer Competition.
The Grand Champion County-Bred steer was raised by Michael Diaz from stock from his grandparents, Ruben and Antonia Diaz’s, ranch.
And the Reserve Grand Champion County-Bred Steer was raised by Kaitlyn Reed from stock from Tommy and Delia Perez’s ranch.
Also, the Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion rabbits were raised by Suzette Dominguez.
And the Grand Champion cake was baked by Darby Harrington.
