
The Expo is being sponsored by the New Mexico Workforce Connection, in partnership with Luna County Community and Economic Development, Deming Luna County Chamber of Commerce, Western New Mexico University and the Small Business Development Center.
Reportedly, local and regional businesses are invited to present information about their respective companies.
Representatives from different state agencies will have workshops available throughout the day on topics such as labor law, unemployment insurance taxes, wage and hour specifics, OSHA, human rights and related business interests.
Representatives from local government agencies will provide training on steps to start a small business, credit, leadership, conflict management, social media and QuickBooks.
The free Business Expo Event will be held Friday and Saturday, February 19th and 20th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mimbres Valley Learning and Special Events Center, 2300 East Pine Street
Lunch will be available on-site at a nominal cost.
