The First United Methodist Church Invites Families to Egypt: Joseph’s Journey From Prison to Palace
A Vacation Bible School family event called Egypt will be hosted at the First United Methodist Church from Monday, June 20, 2016 to Friday, June 24, 2016. Children ages 3 (if potty trained) through 12 years old step back in time at Egypt, exploring the life of Joseph. Kids participate in a memorable Bible-times marketplace, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, and visit Joseph in prison and then in his palace home. Plus, everyone learns to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes at Celebration—a time of upbeat worship that gets everyone involved.
Egypt VBS will run from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each day. Pastor Ernie Vineyard will also host an adult bible study for parents of any children who wish to attend at the same time as VBS. Dinner will be provided for all participants. For more information, call (575) 546-2791.
