Distribution of commodities for the general public will be November 17, at 3801 Raymond Reed Blvd. Distribution will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until the food is gone.
Recipients will need to bring a picture ID and a current utility bill or other proof of your current address. You must show documentation or you will not receive food.
If you are picking up for someone else, you will need to bring a note of authorization and all of the above for that person.

Christmas is just around the corner and the First Christian Church Ladies’ Council would like to help you find that special item to give a friend or family member. You are invited to the Council’s Yard and Bake Sale on Saturday, November 5th, starting at 8 AM at the Fellowship Hall at the corner of Maple and Copper Streets. Deming Elks #2750 will host a Red, White, Blue and YOU night to honor all veterans, military men and women, all law enforcement agencies and first responders on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Deming Elks lodge 3401 Raymond Reed Blvd.
A welcome and appreciation speech will begin at 6pm with dinner at 6:30pm and dance after dinner free of charge for our honorees. Deming Elks would like to show their appreciation towards all veterans, law enforcement members and first responders in the area.

Deming Elks #2750 holds their regular Monday night bingo on Mondays at the Elks lodge located at 3401 Raymond Reed Blvd. Doors open at 5:30.

CALLING ALL VETERANS!!!
The students and staff at Bell Elementary School are hosting a Veterans' Day Program honoring our veterans.
The program will be held on Friday, November 11th at 1:30pm in the school gymnasium.
We hope to see you there!!
The Luna County Democratic Party will host an "Election Night Watch" on Tuesday, November 8, at the Party Headquarters located at 122 S. Silver at 7:00 pm.
You are invited to stop by for a short time or until results are final. We will follow both local, state and national results.
Refreshments will be available.
Guests are free to bring their favorite snack or beverage.
