Bataan PTC meeting January 13 at 5:30 at Bataan Elementary we will be discussing audit that Bataan elementary went through
in November and everyone is welcome to come, parents and community members to hear about our audit.
Elks Bingo Deming Elks Lodge #2750 will hold their weekly non-smoking Bingo on Monday, January 12th, beginning at 6:30 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm, with early bird Bingo at 6.
Regular games begin at 6:30.
Over half our games pay $125 or more, and there is a progressive call game worth $500. We will be calling 45 numbers for the $500 Monday.

(Deming) - Distribution of Commodities for the general public will be held Thursday, January 15, at 3801 Raymond Reed Blvd.
Distribution will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. or until the food is gone.
Recipients will need to bring a picture ID and a current utility bill or other proof of your current address. You must show documentation or you will not receive food. If you are picking up for someone else, you will beed to bring a note of authorization and all of the above for that person.

Wednesday Dec 31st, Barbara Besser will be here at 12:30 PM to give an art class. This class is free and supplies are provided.
The library will be closed Thursday, Friday and Saturday Jan 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, 2015 for the New Year Holiday.

Adults with special needs will be meeting on Tuesday at 1 pm and will be doing arts and crafts.

(Deming) - Deming Animal Guardians and The Galleria have partnered to celebrate the holidays with friends and help the Mazie Fund for the Amazing Mazie who was hit by a car and other needy animals in Luna County.
Join the festivities on Sunday, December 21, from 11 am to 4 pm at 200 S. 8th St. in Deming. Enjoy home-baked goodies and hot spiced cider as well as door prizes and raffles all day. The Galleria is donating 10% of all sales to Deming Animal Guardians.

(Deming) - The community is invited to spend Christmas Eve with First United Methodist Church at one of two services on December 24th.
The first one will be held in Courthouse Park (corner of Ash and Gold Streets) at 5 p.m. Familiar carols will be sung, and a message heard, concluding with the singing of “Silent Night” in candlelight. Please bring a chair.
The second one is a Candlelight Communion Service at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The Christmas message will be presented in word and song, communion will be served, and the service will conclude with the singing of “Silent Night” in candlelight. Children will be given special worship bags to take home, and a nursery is provided for ages four and under. The church is located at 1020 S.
