The DAV van transportation is attainable  
If you need transportation to Silver City or Albuquerque VA, please contact Anna Benson at 575-494-7211.  If you require transportation to Las Cruces or El Paso VA, please contact Manny Garcia at 575-694-0110.  Requests will only be accepted during normal business hours (8:00am-5:00pm)  As a reminder, DAV van transportation is ONLY available Monday thru Thursday.

Volunteer drivers are still needed to transport veterans to their medical appointments.  Applications are available by contacting Manny Garcia (575-694-0110), or the DAV Adjutant at 575-936-6252.  For any additional concerns, please contact the DAV office at 575-546-2201 or the Commander at 575-545-1669.

SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM



The City of Deming and Deming Public Schools’ Summer Recreation Program will begin registering participants on May 24th.  


Coach Jerome Sandoval said the program is open to all youth ages 6-13.

Activities include:  basketball, flag football, volleyball, mush ball, tennis, soccer, cheer and dance, dodge ball, kick ball, ultimate Frisbee, horseshoes and double- dutch jump rope.

The program runs Monday – Thursday, 7am – noon.

Registration fee $15per child. 

Registration  will be at Deming HS Auxiliary gym Friday May 24th 12-6pm. 

Saturday 25th  8am-6pm and Monday Memorial Day from 8am -6pm.

Senior Center Bingo

The Deming Senior Center invites you to play Bingo  Wednesday nights at the Senior Center.   The doors open at 4:30pm. 
Ticket sales start at 5pm, and games begin at 6pm.   Prize’s range from $125 to $250 with a winner take all at the end of the session.  The proceeds from the games go to the programs at the Deming Senior Center. 
This is a non-smoking bingo with breaks for smokers.
