(Deming) -- Deming’s Walmart was the scene of a fiery explosion Saturday afternoon when a two vehicle accident caused a massive explosion on the east entrance to the store. Eye witnesses report that a SUV collided with a truck at around noon Saturday… sending the truck veering out of control and into a food service trailer that was parked outside the Walmart store. Eye witnesses to the accident report that the vehicle hit a propane tank sending the tank through the wall of the store causing a massive explosion… destroying a Red Box video rental machine and launching a man who was at the Red Box machine into the air. Eye witnesses tell KOTS/KDEM three people were transported to the local Hospital. At this time, KOTS KDEM cannot confirm the extent of injuries or the exact amount of people injured. We are getting reports of 3 or 4 people injured.
