(Deming) – The Luna County Teen Court Program is asking for donations to its bicycle recycling program.
If you have a bicycle that you’ve outgrown or one that is not used and is taking up space, you might consider donating it to the Luna County TeenCourt program.
Participants in the program are repairing, mending and piecing together bicycles to be redistributed throughout the community.
Refurbished bicycles will be distributed to individuals as well as other community organizations to promote greater access to Deming and a healthy transportation alternative.
Bicycles can be dropped off at the Luna County DWI Prevention Office at 321 West Spruce in the County Annex.
You may also call 545-2459 if you need to have a bicycle picked up.
