(Deming) — The most recent reported sightings of leprechauns on Silver and Gold streets verify that the MainStreet annual Chocolate Competition has begun.
Continuing through March 16th – the day before St. Patty’s Day – you can purchase your “green” wristbands for only $5 at participating downtown merchants. The wristband will entitle you to sample over 10 different chocolate treats on March 16th from 12-3 p.m.
The Deming Arts Center will be holding free art and music instruction for children accompanied by a parent between 1-3 p.m. at the DAC, 100 S. Gold Street.
And if you are into the “wearing-o-the-green” and sport a green outfit on the 16th, you will be able to cast two votes for your favorite chocolate creation.
