(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Jessica Steele, age 30, of Silver City, was arrested for trafficking in a controlled substance… a criminal complaint was filed on Monte Carr, age 41, for abandonment or abuse of a child… Paul Martens, age 31, was arrested on a Sixth Judicial District Court warrant for a probation violation… and a 16-year-old boy was charged with battery.
Also… a 35-year-old Deming woman reported being the victim of identity theft after learning nearly $1,000 was accessed from an account of hers without authorization… and nearly $200 in criminal damage was reported to a door on a building off South Platinum.
