(Deming) – On a programming note:

Monday, Christmas Eve, we will begin our special Christmas  programming by airing Handel's Messiah from 1-2 p.m. on both KDEM-FM and  KOTS-AM.

Handel's Messiah, sponsored by Mimbres Memorial Hospital and  Nursing Home, features a performance by the
Independence Messiah Choir of the  Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from their world  headquarters in Independence, Missouri.

Then we will air Charles Dickens' classic, "A Christmas  Carol," on both stations from 7-8 p.m. Monday night -- Christmas  Eve.

The program is a complete uninterrupted rebroadcast of the  1939 Campbell's Playhouse Production produced and narrated by Orsen Wells and  starring Lionel Barrymore as
Scrooge.  "A Christmas Carol" is sponsored by First New Mexico Bank.

Also, we will bring you sounds of the season -- Christmas  music accented by Christmas greetings and community "thank you's" sponsored by  area merchants -- on Christmas Eve and Christmas
Day.

And from all of us at Luna County Broadcasting... we wish you  a very Merry Christmas. And
please,  make it a safe holiday.
