(Deming) -- Two separate underage drinking parties over the
holiday weekend resulted in a number of arrests and
citations.
Arrested in connection with a party in the 1600 block of South Tin was 22-year-old Luis Orozco, who is facing seven counts of contributing to the delinquency of minors.
Orozco also had a District Court warrant for failure to
appear.
The seven minors – boys and girls ages 17-19 – were cited and released.
And Joel Valdez, age 23, was arrested on six counts of selling or giving alcohol to minors in
connection with a party in the 400 block of East Fourth Street.
Also arrested were 19-year-old Juan Valdez for assault on a peace officer, and 20-year-old Carlos
Rodriguez for minor allowing self to be served alcohol and concealing his identity.
