(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:

Raul Hernandez Pereda,  age 69, was arrested for
aggravated DUI and having an open container… Sherry  Lynn Morris, age 43, of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, was arrested for drunkenness and  interference with officers… 

Consuelo  Ortiz-Hernandez, age 43, was arrested on a bench warrant and on a Magistrate  warrant for failure to pay fines… Jose Tarrango, age 18, was arrested on two  Magistrate warrants for failure to appear… Edgar Bautista, age 23, was arrested  on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear… Rudy Marrufo, Junior, age 44, of  Arenas Valley, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines… Erick Miranda, age 19, was
arrested on two Municipal warrants for failure to pay  fines… Arthur Arrey, age 46, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to  appear… Manuel Padilla, age 19, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure  to pay fines… and Miguel Quezada, age 18, was cited for reckless driving,  possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating  restrictions of a
provisional driver’s license.

And in juvenile news… the District Attorney’s office filed a petition on a 12-year-old boy for battery  and injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle.

Also, a laptop computer  and modem with a combined value of over $600 were taken from a vehicle parked  off South Las Cruces… and a mountain bike valued at nearly $600 was taken from  off South Copper.
