(Deming) – The Deming Wildcats – our two-time district
football champions – hosted the Roswell Coyotes  Friday
night in the first round of the State Quad-A Football Playoffs. 
The Cats shut out the Coyotes 36-0. 
Deming will go to the quarter finals of state playoff against
Belen.

It was the first shut out of the season for the
Cats… now with a record 9 wins 2 losses.



Friday night Scoring for Cats: 
Ismail Garrett - scored 3 touchdowns

Dominic Saenz - 1touchdown
 
Elijah Ballinas - 1 touchdown

Antonio Palomino - kicked a 25 yard field goal

Richard Regalado - 3 interceptions

J.D.  Perez - 1 interception

Mike Hernandez -1 Interception

Ismail Garrett carried the ball 15 times for 135 yards…

Deming goes to 9 wins 2 losses  heading to state quarter finals either Friday night or Saturday afternoon.  The exact day and time is not known at this writing. However, the Wildcats will be traveling to Belen to take on the Belen Eagles.
