‘Cats Advance in State Football Playoffs
(Deming) – The Deming Wildcats – our two-time district football champions – have advanced in the 2012 New Mexico Class Quad-A State Football playoffs.
The ‘Cats, ranked #5 in the state, shut out the #12 Roswell
Coyotes Friday night 36-0 in the first round of the playoffs.
That means they’ve advance to the Quarterfinals and will take on the #4-ranked Belen Eagles this Friday night in Belen.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and we’ll carry the game live on AM 1230 KOTS with the voice of the Wildcats Danny Rodriguez.
