(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Arnoldo Marquez, age 28, of Columbus, was arrested for driving while license was suspended or revoked and on a
registration violation… Herman Benzor, age 23, was arrested on an Adult Probation and Parole Office warrant for a probation violation… Vanessa Mediano, age 27, was arrested on an Adult Probation and Parole Office warrant for a probation violation… Manny Apodaca, age 23, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines… and Elena Moon, age 29, of Silver City, was arrested on a Grant County warrant for failure to pay fines.
And in juvenile news… the District Attorney’s office filed petitions on a 17-year-old boy for three counts of resisting or evading officers, shoplifting, trespassing and reckless driving… on a
15-year-old boy for breaking and entering… and on a 16-year-old boy for a probation violation.
Also… police are investigating the possible embezzlement of $500 from a gas station… and a computer valued at nearly $400 was taken from a business off South Columbus Road.
