(Deming) – Deming Public School officials invite parents and
community members to attend a Public Information Meeting
Thursday.
School staff reportedly will share ideas and concerns regarding many of the changes affecting education in New Mexico, and the affect they are having on schools, staff and students.
The changes include school grades, weekly early-release Wednesdays, common core standards and school improvement efforts.
The Public Information Meeting will be held Thursday from 5-6:30 p.m. in the board room of the Emmett Shockley Administration Building, 400 Cody Road.
All parents and interested community members are encouraged to attend.
