James Wyda, 38 year old local man missing
(Deming) – A disabled Deming man  is missing.

The Luna County  Sheriff’s Department and the State Department of Public Safety have issued a “Missing Person” bulletin for 38-year-old James Wyda, who was last seen in Las  Cruces on  Monday.

Wyda is described as a  white male, 5’4” tall,  weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown  eyes.

Anyone with information  on Wyda’s whereabouts is urged to contact Luna County Sheriff’s Department  Corporal James Ojeda at  546-0354.

(Deming) -- The Luna County Sheriff's Department will be conducting D-W-I saturation patrols during the Cinco de Mayo weekend.
Deputies will be looking for  drunk and impaired drivers, drivers exceeding the posted speed limits, and other  traffic law violators.
Motorists are reminded to buckle up, use child restraint seats, drive the speed limit, avoid distractions like cell phone talking and texting, and never drive impaired through the use of 
alcohol or narcotics.
