Timothy Johnson, age 40, of Twin Lakes, New  Mexico, was arrested for  aggravated DUI, abandonment or abuse of a child, driving while license was  suspended or revoked and on a safety belt violation… Ramon Castaneda, age 60,  was arrested for DUI, speeding and on an improper lane driving violation… Alex  Garcia, age 22, was arrested for kidnapping, aggravated battery against a  household member and aggravated assault against a household
member… Alma Widmar,  age 46, was arrested for abandonment or abuse of a child, battery on a peace  officer, resisting or evading officers and reckless
driving…  Phillip Crabb, age 35, was arrested for reckless driving, driving while  license was suspended or revoked and on a Municipal  warrant for failure to  appear… Phillip Broner, age 34, was arrested for concealing his identity…  Steven Maynes, age 29, was arrested on a District Court  arrest warrant… Branndon McNeil, age 36, of San Antonio, Texas, was arrested on  two failure-to-appear warrants… Martin Calderon, age 46, was arrested on a Dona  Ana County warrant for failure to pay fines… and Felisha Weaver, age 38, was  arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear.

Also… a 2003-model utility trailer valued at $2,500 was taken  from a location off East Pear… two tractor-trailer tires with chrome rims with a  combined value of $1,600 were taken from outside a motel off East Pine… a  vehicle battery and engine parts
totaling $1,000 were taken from a vehicle  parked off Columbus Road… a cellular phone valued at $300 was taken from BMX  Park… over $100 in criminal damage occurred to a door and window screen during a  break-in at a residence off Sixth Street… and a counterfeit $100 bill was  discovered at a convenience store.

(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:

Michael Montes, age 25, was arrested on two  Sixth Judicial District Court  warrants for probation violations, and on a  Magistrate warrant for failure to  pay fines… Mario Quintero, age 55, was  arrested on an Adult Probation and Parole  Office warrant for a probation  violation… and Ashley Madrid, age 26, was  arrested on a Magistrate warrant for  failure to pay fines. 

Also… a 37-year-old Deming woman reported fraudulent use of her credit  card in an amount exceeding $2,500… and a  58-year-old Deming woman reported her  debit card used without authorization at a local store.

And in other news, counterfeit $100 bills have been discovered in the  past few days at two gas stations, a fast-food restaurant and Wal-Mart in  Deming.Reportedly, at least some  of the bills were altered $5 bills which were made to look like $100s.

Yvonne Madrid, age 38, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine,  possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Municipal warrant for failure to  appear… Joseph Quintero, age 23, was arrested  on a District Court warrant for  contempt of court… and Kayla Perry, age 23, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant  for failure to appear.

Also… a flatbed trailer, a second trailer, a shed and a 1979 Ford truck  with a combined value of $12,300 were taken from a
location near Rivera and  Franklin Road… a 1982 Ford pickup was reported stolen by a resident off North  Silver… and $300 worth of clothes and cash were taken from a residence off South  Iron.

In juvenile news… a 17-year old boy was been charged with violating a court order  for house arrest… a
13-year-old girl was cited for minor allowing self to be  served alcohol… and a 17-year-old boy was cited for trespassing and resisting or  evading officers. 

Also… a  battery-operated child’s vehicle, a pool table, two televisions and a video game  player with a combined value of nearly $1,900 were taken from a residence off  Shelly… three handguns valued at over $900 were taken from a residence off  Pelayo Road
Southwest… four tires valued at over $600 were damaged on a vehicle  parked off South Granite… $500’s worth of jewelry was taken from a residence off  South Gold… a bicycle valued at nearly $500 was taken from a location off South  Iron…  a cement mixer, weed eater and chain saw with a combined value of $450  were taken from a location off West Second… $300 in criminal damage occurred to  a pickup parked off South Shelly after it was scratched… amplifiers and a  speaker system were taken from a vehicle parked off East Fourth Street… $250  cash was taken from a residence off West Second… and gang graffiti was  discovered on a wall off South Copper.

Daniel Carreon, age 21, of Santa Fe, was arrested for interference with  officers and on an Adult Probation and Parole Office warrant for a probation violation.

Also… a refrigerator  valued at $1,500 was taken from a residence off East Elm… three window air  conditioner units were taken

Dolores Flores, age 48,  of Albuquerque, was arrested for DUI, speeding and having an expired  registration.  Hector Flores, age 26, was arrested for possession of a controlled  substance with intent to  distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Javier Perez, age 21,  was arrested for prowling  and on a Municipal warrant for burglary and unlawful  taking of a motor vehicle.  Carlos Pacheco, age 18, was arrested for larceny. Leroy Almanza, age 35, was  arrested for trespassing.  Nidia Hernandez-Moreno, age  27, of Las Cruces, was  arrested for no driver’s license and on a Dona Ana County  warrant for failure
to pay fines.  Colby Reutter, age 23,  was arrested on a  fugitive warrant out of Callahan County, Texas, for felony  criminal mischief.   Nathan Riggs, age 38, was arrested on three Magistrate  warrants for failure to  pay fines. Lori Dominguez, age 31, was arrested on a  Magistrate warrant for  failure to appear.  Isabel Islas, age 18, was arrested on  a Magistrate warrant,  and Baby Leonard Moreno, age 34, was arrested on a  Magistrate  warrant.

And in juvenile news,  a  16-year-old boy was  charged with aggravated assault on a peace officer,  resisting or obstructing an
officer, concealing his identity and possession of  alcohol by a minor.   A  12-year-old boy was charged with battery and injuring or  tampering with a motor  vehicle.  A 17-year-old boy was cited for battery,  and two  12-year-old boys were  cited for shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

Also,  the fuel tanks of  two tractors off  O’Kelly Road were tampered with; criminal damage estimated at  over $1,200.
$1,000 in criminal damage occurred to a vehicle parked off Lori  Drive.  A wallet with nearly $300 cash and a money order for $400 was lost at  Wal-Mart.  Nearly  $400 was taken from an EBT account without authorization.   $300  in criminal  damage occurred to a vehicle parked at the Hofacket building of  Deming High  School.  An apartment window and a vehicle window off Tennyson were  damaged.   And $100 in criminal damage occurred to a window at a fast-food  restaurant off North Gold.
