Hugo Duarte-Martinez, age 35, was arrested for aggravated DUI, careless driving, failure to stop and failure to maintain a lane… Gilbert Villegas, age 25, was arrested for aggravated DUI, driving while
license was suspended or revoked and speeding…
Jose Orozco-Lujan, age 42, was arrested on two counts of abandonment or abuse of a child and for possession of marijuana over eight ounces but under 100 pounds… Noe Acosta, age 28, of Columbus, was arrested for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug
paraphernalia, causing criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct… Juan Jaramillo, age 27, of Hatch, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Municipal warrant for failure to appear…
Steve Duran, age 46, was arrested on an Adult Probation and Parole Office warrant for a probation violation… Ismael Porras, age 30, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear… Socorro Villegas, age 45, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines… Cynthia Rodriguez, age 32, was arrested on a Dona Ana County warrant for failure to
appear… and Samantha Martinez, age 24, of Casa Grande, Arizona, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines.

aggravated DUI and having an open container… Sherry Lynn Morris, age 43, of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, was arrested for drunkenness and interference with officers…
Consuelo Ortiz-Hernandez, age 43, was arrested on a bench warrant and on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines… Jose Tarrango, age 18, was arrested on two Magistrate warrants for failure to appear… Edgar Bautista, age 23, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear… Rudy Marrufo, Junior, age 44, of Arenas Valley, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines… Erick Miranda, age 19, was
arrested on two Municipal warrants for failure to pay fines… Arthur Arrey, age 46, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to appear… Manuel Padilla, age 19, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines… and Miguel Quezada, age 18, was cited for reckless driving, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating restrictions of a
provisional driver’s license.
And in juvenile news… the District Attorney’s office filed a petition on a 12-year-old boy for battery and injuring or tampering with a motor vehicle.
Also, a laptop computer and modem with a combined value of over $600 were taken from a vehicle parked off South Las Cruces… and a mountain bike valued at nearly $600 was taken from off South Copper.

Aida Delgado, age 45, was arrested for battery on a household member… Juan Rincon, age 22, was arrested for burglary of a dwelling and tampering with evidence… David Del-Rio, age 25, was arrested on two Magistrate warrants for failure to appear and on a Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines… and Albert Duenas, age 34, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines.
Also… $1,900 in cash was reportedly embezzled from a gas station off West Pine Street… a laptop computer, television and air compressor with a combined value of $1,500 were taken from a residence off Guernsey Road Southeast… and a counterfeit $100 bill was discovered at a store
in Columbus.

violation… Merlin Garcia, age 35, of Santo Domingo, New Mexico, was arrested for driving while license was suspended or revoked and improper equipment… and Robert Chavez, age 38, was cited for having alcohol in a public place.
In juvenile news… a 15-year-old boy was cited for battery at Deming High School… a 14-year-old girl was cited for larceny… the District Attorney’s office filed a petition on a 13-year-old boy for
aggravated assault with a deadly weapon… and on a 16-year-old boy and on a 15-year-old girl for shoplifting.
And in other news… a 37-year-old Deming woman reported a case of identity theft after learning that someone in San Francisco, California, was using her Social Security number.

Jeffrey Krol, age 27, was arrested on an Adult Probation and Parole Office warrant for a probation violation… Victor Amaro, age 28, was arrested on five Magistrate warrants for failure to pay fines and one for failure to appear… Higinio Lopez, age 25, was arrested on two
Magistrate warrants for failure to pay fines… Rafael Martinez, age 22, of Las Cruces, was arrested on a Dona Ana County warrant for failure to appear… Jesse Guzman, age 18, was cited for driving without a license… and a 15-year-old boy was cited for shoplifting at Wal-Mart.
Also… nearly $300 in criminal damage occurred at a business off East Poplar after someone damaged a cash register in an attempt to steal it.

Parole Office warrant for a probation violation… and a 15-year-old girl was charged with possession of marijuana at Deming High School.
Also… a 1997 Chevrolet pickup with camper shell valued at $5,000 was taken from a location off West Buckeye… jewelry, electronics and a rifle with a combined value of nearly $2,800 were taken from a residence off South Nickel… an iPod valued at $250 was taken from Deming High
School… and clothing and jewelry valued at $200 were taken from a residence in Columbus.

Jerry Cordova, age 32, of Plainview, Texas, was arrested on a Colorado warrant for a probation violation… Crystal Hernandez, age 21, was arrested on a District Court warrant for a probation violation… and Markus Widmar, age 24, was
arrested on two Magistrate warrants – one for failure to appear and one for failure to pay fines.
And in juvenile news… the District Attorney’s office filed a petition on a 17-year-old boy for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, tampering with evidence and battery… and a 14-year-old boy has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon for allegedly stabbing a 12-year-old girl in the thigh with a pencil at Deming Intermediate School.
Also… two pallets of blocks were taken from a location off South San Jose… and a 71-year-old man reported being the victim of identity theft after being notified by Social Security officials that his Social Security number was being used by someone in Texas.

aggravated DUI… Francisco Garza, age 31, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines… Arturo Martinez, age 20, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines… and Nitin Jain, age 24, of Littleton, Colorado, was cited for possession of marijuana.

In juvenile news… the District Attorney’s office filed a petition on a 16-year-old girl for possession of alcohol by a minor… and a 16-year-old boy was cited for trespassing at Deming High School.
In other news… a television, car stereo, computer, amplifier, cell phone and credit card with a combined value of over $1,000 were taken from a residence off South Silver; over $300 worth of
unauthorized charges have been made on the credit card… a window valued at over $1,000 was broken on a residence off South Bryant Street… a 67-year-old Deming woman reported fraud after unauthorized transactions for a trac phone appeared on her bank card statement… and over $200 worth of diesel fuel was taken from a semi-truck parked at a local motel.
